Hopkinton Sportsmen’s Association is currently accepting new members. To join, prospective members must have a sponsor in good standing who has been a member for more than two years.
Members can only sponsor one new members per calendar year.
After obtaining a sponsor, you must shoot on the HSA range with the sponsor, complete an online application, and attend a monthly Board Meeting or a General Membership meeting.
The online application must be submitted ONE WEEK (7 days) before the Board or General Membership meeting at which you wish to be submitted to the Board for membership consideration.

On the night you attend for membership, you will need to bring:

- MA License to Carry or MA Firearms ID Card
- Valid License to Drive
- Proof of membership in the NRA or GOAL
- Your sponsor must be present with you.
Payment for your year’s dues will be collected online via the same portal through which you submitted your membership application.
The following must be in hand before the Board meeting at which a prospective member is considered for club membership:

- The applicant must possess an ACTIVE LTC
- The applicant must possess an ACTIVE membership in GOAL or the NRA
- The applicant must have recently shot on the Hopkinton Sportsmen’s Association’s ranges with their sponsor
- The applicant must complete an online membership application at least ONE WEEK (7 Days) prior to the Board meeting at which they will be submitted for membership
- The application must include all the required information. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Detailed Application Process:
After you fill out the form, you will need to appear with your sponsor at the HSA board of directors on the first Monday of the month, or a general meeting on the Second Monday of the month in April, August and October to be voted in. Please view the calendar for these dates. You may arrive as early as 7:00 pm. Please arrive no later than 7:15 pm. The meeting begins promptly at 7:30 pm, and late arrivals may be rolled forward to the following meeting.
The membership initiation fee is $150, and the dues are $180. Depending on when you join, your dues will be prorated as follows:
